Earlier this year, I caved into the Dry Shampoo gossip. I kept hearing/reading that by using dry shampoo you can wash your hair less and still manage the amount of oil on your roots so that your hair doesn’t look greasy. At first, I didn’t like the idea. I mean, when you think about it, you’re not washing your hair for the days that you use dry shampoo and I couldn’t help but think how gross that is. After I got over that thought, I decided to purchase a dry shampoo product that I heard worked really well. And it did! I was able to wash my hair every three days and my hair didn’t look greasy! Although I liked this particular brand, I was dropping $22 for a can of dry shampoo every month! So when I was given a bottle of the new HASK Coconut Dry shampoo in exchange for a sponsored post, I was way too excited!

This isn’t my first rodeo with HASK hair products. I’ve actually tried HASK’s newest shampoo and conditioner line and wrote about it in this post. Their products are great and their prices are even better! So, I knew that the HASK Coconut Dry shampoo would not cost as much as the other brand I tried. In fact, the HASK Coconut Dry Shampoo is ONLY $7.99 per bottle! That is pretty cheap for a dry shampoo bottle! So that you get the gist of how inexpensive the HASK Coconut Dry Shampoo bottle is, the other brand was $22 per bottle and only had 4 oz of product in the can. The HASK Coconut Dry Shampoo bottle costs $7.99 and holds 6.5 oz of product!
Not all dry shampoo’s are made equally. It’s a fact of life. For example, I was in no way gifted musically but I can usually surprise a group of guys with my soccer abilities. There’s just some things you can do better than me and vice versa. Well, it’s the same with dry shampoo.
Honestly, I was a little eerie of trying the HASK Coconut Dry Shampoo because it costs way less than $20. The reason why I was worried about trying a cheaper dry shampoo was because the last time I bought a cheaper dry shampoo, it left a white residue on my hair! Since my hair is very dark brown, (I know, you’re shocked – My hair looks black!) a dry shampoo that leaves noticeable white residue on the top of my head, isn’t going to cut it!
Thankfully, the HASK Coconut Dry Shampoo barely left any white residue! Yes, it did leave minimal white residue. But nobody is perfect y’all – not even carefully curated dry shampoo! So even though the HASK Coconut Dry Shampoo left minimal white residue, it wasn’t even noticeable and I would still purchase the product for the quality and price!
There is no point in buying any product if it doesn’t do what it’s made to do. So if you remember, I wrote at the beginning of this post that dry shampoo is supposed to allow you to go days without washing your hair and prevent grease build up. The HASK Coconut Dry Shampoo was very effective! Just like the other dry shampoo, I am able to not wash my hair for 3 days! All it took was a handful of sprays to the roots on day #2 and #3. Then, at the end of day #3, I would wash my hair.

Overall, I really do believe that the HASK Coconut Dry shampoo is a great product! It’s cheap, barely leaves any white residue, and is effective! If you’re interested in buying the HASK Coconut Dry Shampoo, you can buy it from ULTA Beauty. Are there any dry shampoo’s that you love? What do you love about them?
